Day 1.

Hello again,

I decided to write again today because I got my homework done and I had some free time…and I really like writing. To clarify, I am not going to get drunk all the time and live my life super promiscuously-don’t know if anyone got that from my last blog, but if you did, there’s that.

Over the next couple of months, I will not be going to church. I will do my ministry things until my commitment is over. I’ll be listening to podcasts and reading my Bible. I’ll be continuing to go to counseling and see my psychiatrist. I’ll be living normal life, which may or may not include training for a half marathon. I made it through my first 5K on a treadmill. Running an entire 3.1 miles is not as hard as it would seem, but if you were to ask me a few months ago when I couldn’t even run a minute without feeling like I was going to die, I would have definitely called you crazy. I’ll be going to my workout classes and getting a cool shirt by the end of this month for going to said classes. Hopefully by the end of the summer I’ll be getting a tattoo…100 pounds gone=new tattoo and I’m pretty stoked about it.

I’ll be digging into my past…for some reason, I’ve been having annoying dreams that possibly mean I need to do something to reconcile something or reconcile my past with my present self. Sounds like new age something or another, but it’s just what it is.

I’ll be reading books by different people that I am interested by. A current one I am listening to is called “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F***” and it has been so good so far-some great perspectives have been shared. I just read “Girl, Wash Your Face” by Rachel Hollis. Top 2 book on my list. That and “Present Over Perfect” by Shauna Niequist are my top favorites. Maybe I’ll blog a book review on those eventually.

I’ve decided that I want to live my life on purpose…I want to love people well…without the “shoulds” behind them. I am going to write on this blog as much as possible, with little to no cares about who reads them or what people think. It’s an outlet for my thoughts, so here goes.

Oh, and I’ll share little tidbits about Frankie because he’s the best thing ever. We went to the lake over the Fourth and he LOVED it. He loves taking walks with friends and loves to cuddle, almost all hours of the day if he could.

Life without Facebook…mostly life without scrolling and wasting my time on there comparing my life to everybody else’s…has been fantastic.

-Sarah (:
